Freedom Ranch

Freedom Ranch is a family run farm and private boarding facility, established September 2013 by Crystal Pascoe in Earlton, Ontario.

I bought the farm based on a love for horses and it grew from there!

I am now proud to offer a variety of services including horse boarding, horse trailer rental, top quality hay, bulk shavings, fresh chicken, beef and turkey, custom farming, horse shows and clinics.

History:

The name Freedom Ranch was chosen after I bought my very first horse which was a rescued 17h Standard Bred gelding from Federalsburg, Maryland, USA. I was able to track his freeze brand and discovered that "Allamerican Peak" a.k.a. Midnight Storm, was a pacer that sold for 25K as a 2 year old and had raced all over the US and Canada. He was then retired in Sudbury where he found himself unwanted and discarded. I purchased him from a meat buyer at the Temiskaming Livestock Exchange after the sale. I took a chance on him without any history; I didn't know his story or his name, but there was just something about that horse that I couldn't walk away from in the moonlit holding pen.

I gave that horse a second chance at life... and freedom.

The running horse in my farm logo is actually a silhouette of Midnight Storm running across the pasture for the very first time, tasting freedom. His hoof beats were like thunder in the night, which spurred his new name, Midnight Storm.
